After he left the Air Force, Mike started a small business, selling insurance and financial services for State Farm Insurance companies. Mike is now a husband of 37 years, father of 3 children, and grandfather of 2 grandchildren. He is a strong Family Man and Christian who has raised a very successful family and stands strong on his faith and morals. Mike was awarded an honorary doctorate from Pensacola Christian College in 2015.

In 2013, Mike began his political career and was elected to the Florida State House District 2 in a special election. In 2014, he won re-election for the seat after sticking true to his conservative principles and promises. He then ran for State Senate in 2016 but was not successful. In 2018 he was asked to run for State House District 1, and won the seat. He is now seeking re-election for his current seat.

As a Constitutional Conservative, Mike Hill has become well respected, with one of the strongest Constitutional voting records in all of Florida. Mike Hill was the first Florida legislator to introduce the Heartbeat Bill which protects the preborn from abortion once the heartbeat is detected. He is consistent, honest and forthcoming in his efforts to protect and restore Liberty in Florida against a corrupt establishment. As one of the only true Constitutional Conservatives in office, he continues to fight an uphill battle, needing reinforcements to assist in his efforts to hold the establishment accountable to the Constitution at all times.

Mike has impeccable knowledge on the Constitution and the Integrity behind his Oath of Office both from his military days, to his days in office to uphold it. You would be hard pressed to find a better Candidate than Mike for any position in office.
