Mark Cripe
US Representative for California
District 25, Republican
Mark Cripe has been happily married for 31 years with three adult children ages 28, 25 and 22. He joined the Marine Corps at the young age of 17, and served for 6 years before being honorably discharged as a Sergeant. He then joined the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in 1991 where he started off working as a gang deputy and patrolling the cities of Lancaster and Palmdale. In December of 1991, he was assigned to work with at-risk youth and their families where he dedicated his effort to strengthening the program to assist the at-risk youth.
His efforts got recognized by the US Congress, the Governor of California, and the California State Assembly, and received a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Exemplary Service Award, and the Distinguished Service Award.
Mr. Cripe has chosen to run for office, because he and his wife have been very concerned about what has been happening in their community and country. Knowing that he was coming up on retirement this coming March, they started to pray about what the next season for them was. As a former Marine and Deputy Sheriff, they came to the decision to take a stand in their district for their community and country. To take a stand for the Freedom and Liberty that our nation is supposed to be about.
With Mark Cripe’s experience in the Marines and Sheriff’s Department, he has shown tremendous perseverance and dedication to his duties. With a strong understanding of the Constitution, he seeks to dedicate himself to the duty of the United States Constitution and to the American People in order to stand for our Freedoms and Liberties that are guaranteed by the Constitution.
